[self-released] out-of-print

We completed our demo, 100,000 subtle times, in November 2000. We recorded it at home off and on for about a year. We recorded it on an 8-track reel-to-reel with only one decent microphone to help us (a Rode NT1).

You're welcome to download all of these files and make your own CD out of them. If enough people are interested, I can also upload album art and you can just make your own full-fledged copy. If you can't download these files, but still want a copy of this album, just email, and we'll figure something out.

Song Descriptions:

douglas rossback's indecision:

This just started out as an instrumental jam we did that just latched its way on to the end of suddenly winter. Then we decided that was really where it belonged. The little "Radio Interview" bits are from a reel that was left on a portable reel-to-reel machine that we bought through ebay. (the snoring also came from this tape) We'd like to thank the Brown Family, wherever they may be.

a modern hymn (all my icons have been rearranged):

oh, gosh where to start? This all started with the drum machine beat and the organ part that starts on one note and ascends and descends from there adding notes to make a big old fat something or another chord. We kept adding parts to it (like the jazz combo that sneaks in and out towards the end) until we felt like it had said all it could.
