Drummer's Girlfriend Thinks He Should Sing
CHAPEL HILL, NC—Angie Carlson, 22, girlfriend of AstroPuffs drummer Steve Molzen, encouraged him to sing on some of the band's songs Monday. "You have such an amazing voice—just because you're the drummer doesn't mean you can't sing, too," Carlson told Molzen after a gig. "Just look at Dave Grohl." Carlson went on to ask Molzen if there has ever been a band where the drum kit was positioned at the front of the stage.

Halloween show was a blast. Costumes:
Trusty Dan - Sideshow Bob
Trusty Jeff - Abraham Lincoln
Trusty Mike - It was cool and obscure, required black fingernails, and days later i've totally forgotten.
nnhm Jason - Meg White
nnhm Andrew - Max Fischer
me - Jim Bakker or any televangelist really.
Spongebob Squarepants came by, and so did the Milwaukee's Best Knight of the Round Mead Stein. We decked out the joint in christmas lights, fake spiderwebs (which mixed well with the real ones), blacklights, fog, and Casper the friendly ghost and a Nightmare before christmas on Video. The music we played was good too. All in all a great show. You missed out, you know who you are.
